The Pen Tool

The pen tool draws paths to create vector shapes. With the pen tool you are able to create straight lines by making two point on the page and curve lines by making one point and then with the second point holding drown on the mouse and moving it around to create a curve.

Pathfinder

With the pathfinder function you can merge to shapes together to create one, remove a shape from the other shape, remove the overlapping shape and keep the overlapping shape.

Adding Gradients

You can create a liner or radial gradient in shapes with various different colours, you can also adjust where the blend of the colours takes place with in the shape.
